Dispensing solutions provider Aptar Closures has developed the E-Disc Top closure, a new disc top dispensing solution for e-commerce applications.
The closure is made from fully recyclable polypropylene and available with post-consumer recycled (PCR) content and the closure also supports brands in their efforts to improve sustainability.

The elimination of shrink bands, liners, and other excessive packaging components further reduces waste.
The E-Disc Top closure enhances sustainability and eliminates the requirement for additional liners.
It further simplifies supply chains and shortens lead times. This can result in cost savings for brands, as they can avoid fees for extra protective packaging required by major online retailers, according to the company.
The E-Disc Top closure is manufactured in the US and will be available in a 24-410 flat neck finish, suitable for medium to thick viscosities.

Once opened, it operates with the standard force of a typical disc top closure.
