UK-based Linx Printing Technologies has introduced a new range of laser marking solutions for writing codes on ultra-fast bottling lines.
The new Linx CSL60 laser combines a processor and a 60W laser tube with Linx’sVisicode system to produce clear codes on difficult-to-mark materials, including glass and polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
The laser’s processor is capable of relaying messages from the control unit to the marking head quickly, enabling the solution to mark up to 70,000 bottles an hour.
Beverage manufacturers can use Linx CSL60 to enhance branding and ensure their products meet compliance requirements, according to Linx Printing Technologies.
Linx Printing Technologies Laser Business manager Matt Eastham said: “In competitive beverage markets, meeting compliance requirements and ensuring your brand is fully protected are vital, but neither quality nor productivity can be sacrificed in achieving these.
“The Linx CSL60 has been specifically designed to satisfy these needs, combining the fastest speeds with superior quality codes.”
